Our favourite biscuit recipe.

Ingredients

175g unsalted butter

1 cup (220g) caster sugar

1/4 cup Uniquely Territory Honey

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

pinch of salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 egg

2 1/4 cup (430g) self raising flour

Instructions

  1. Place butter, sugar, honey, cinnamon, salt & vanilla extract into microwave until the mixture is melted and smooth.

  2. Stir through eff and self raising flour (at this stage the mixture will be warm and sticky). Chill in the fridge for 1 hour/until firm.

  3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius (fan-forced)

  4. Roll the mixture into tablespoon-sized balls. Place onto baking paper-lined oven tray, leaving a 5cm gap between dough balls.

  5. Cook for 12 minutes (rotating trays part-way through) or until light golden brown.

  6. Cool on trays for 10 minutes before transfering to a wire rack to cool completely.
